CANNON KING
Hi! I’m Cannon – a certified personal trainer currently living in Utah.
Sports and fitness have always been a significant focus of my life, and they have provided plenty of growth opportunities that I feel inspired to share. Out of high school in 2018, I was drafted by the Chicago White Sox and deferred to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In 2020, I redirected my efforts to playing football, a sport I didn’t play in high school but always knew I loved. A few years of hard work and plenty of ups and downs eventually led to being named a Junior College All-American and an opportunity to play at the Division 1 level. My football journey ended in 2024 because of a spinal cord injury and I’ve since been inspired to help others realize how physical activity can change their life for good. Fitness is about much more than physical strength—it’s about building resilience and forging new connections that can literally change our brains and help us feel more joy!
As a trainer, I aim to help people realize that fact—whether they want to work toward specific performance goals, develop a new skill, or improve their overall health. For my young athletes, my coaching philosophy centers around building their self-confidence, addressing mistakes with open-mindedness, and cultivating consistent gratitude.
Faith plays a huge role in everything I do. My journey has challenged me to trust God’s plan and use the lessons I’ve learned to serve others. I see fitness as a way to transform the body and inspire hope in ourselves and those around us.
